After the boiler has run continually for about 2hours I think it probably cuts out on the boiler stat (ie it is not up to temperature on the room stat - also confirmed with seperate thermometer). It switches off for a few minutes and then comes back on again and continually cycles the boiler on and off for at least another hour before the room stat temperature is reached.
This innovation in home heating provides warmth for a house from underneath the floors. It's an effective method of heating that works in an unusual way – hydronics or water going through a PEX tubing in the floor. The water in the tubing radiates the heat into the structure. It's an efficient and cost-effective way to heat a house.

A manual ignition will have three settings -- on, off and pilot.
Aug 15, 2019 · Commission the central heating system by closing all of the vents on the radiators, filling the system with water and allowing each radiator to vent through. Activate the heating pump and re-vent the system. Then switch on the boiler and balance the flow of heated water to each radiator by using the lock shield valves.
Steam radiators are connected to a boiler given the task of heating up water. The boiler heats water until it forms into steam. The steam then travels up through the vertical pipe to the radiator where the thermal energy is given off through the fins. As the heat is lost from the steam, it slowly begins to turn back into water.
May 29, 2019 · When the boiler detects that you've opened the faucet, it fires up and heats the water. If it's a central heating boiler, it usually has to pause from heating the central heating water while it's heating the hot water, because it can't supply enough heat to do both jobs at the same time.

Starting procedure. The safety valves should be lifted and released when the pressure is 3 bar below the normal operating value. Once the operating pressure is reached , the boiler should be put on load and the superheater circulatory valves should be closed. All the vents, drains and by passes should also be closed.
To vent the radiator and drain the boiler, follow these directions: Open the valves on radiators and convectors to let out air. Keep them open until water starts coming out. Be ready to catch the water in a bucket or container. Close the valve. Don’t forget to drain the boiler to get rid of rust and mineral deposits.
If the level of the water isn't high enough because there isn't enough fill pressure, the suction pressure on the loop may cause the first water to boil that comes from the boiler on a warm-start boiler.

Flow control valve: Regulates the flow of hot water to the system. Hot Water Return Side Circulation pump: the Electric pump that circulates water through the system. Drain valve: Valve that opens to allow draining the boiler. Continue to 3 of 8 below.
Boiler Systems Operation. The steam travels through pipes to radiators or convectors, which give off heat and warm the room. As the steam cools, it condenses back into water, and returns to the boiler to be heated again. Hot water heating systems operate on the same principle, using hot water instead of steam to heat the radiators.

Start-up Checks. This starting sequence should be carefully observed to make sure that all steps are normal. Readings on flame signal strength meters (if fitted) should be observed and recorded in the boiler log. A normal shutdown should be initiated by opening the manual burner switch. After the post purge has been completed,
How to Do Fall Furnace Maintenance. Fresh, filtered air then blows across the outside of the hot chamber and into the heating ducts. (Homes with radiators have boilers instead of furnaces. These heat water instead of air, but the annual checkup is similar.) In all, the dangerous exhaust from the combustion chamber is vented out a flue or chimney.
Turn OFF the water supply to the water heater, by closing the cold-water inlet valve which is located above the water heater. Release the hot water pressure by allowing air into the tank. To do this, open a nearby faucet in a bathroom or kitchen. Only open the hot water valve, not the cold. Leave the valve open.
The Worlds Most Efficient Heating System. Others may use two or more boilers operated in stages, releasing their heat through an assortment of heat emitters. The same boiler (s) may also provide the building’s domestic hot water. They might even heat the swimming pool, or melt snow as it falls on the driveway.
If one starts to fire the boiler from a cold start, the water will heat up very quickly in the drum and the bottom half of the drum will expand much more quickly than the top half which is not in contact with water. Consequently, the bottom of the drum will become longer than the top, causing the drum to warp.

Failure to consider this whole path logically risks failing to notice potential problems such as return air taken at a furnace itself or the absence of adequate return air.
Items you will need.
